In vielen Weltgegenden sind die reformatorischen und gegenreformatorischen Kirchen heute wie gel\u00e4hmt. Schlechte Stimmungen, von Hilflosigkeit und M\u00fcdigkeit gepr\u00e4gt, breiten sich aus. Der Glaube erscheint inhaltsleer und sprachunf\u00e4hig. Die Liebe wird ins Private zur\u00fcckgenommen und dort im Kampf um Selbstbehauptung oft erstickt. Die Hoffnung ist ziellos, ohne klare Perspektiven oder sogar erstorben. Viele Gottesdienste sind steril, freudlos und schlecht besucht. Die wissenschaftlichen Theologien geraten in den Ruf, abgehoben und unverst\u00e4ndlich oder banal und langweilig zu sein.<\/p>\n<\/div>

In many parts of the world, churches deriving from the Reformation and Counter-Reformation seem paralyzed. Bad moods \u2013 characterized by helplessness and fatigue \u2013 are spreading. Faith seems empty and incapable of articulation. Love is taken back into the private sphere, where it often suffocates in the struggle for self \u2013 assertion. Hope has no goal, no clear perspectives, and has even become extinct. Many worship services are sterile, joyless, and poorly attended. Scholarly theology has the reputation of being either elevated and incomprehensible, or banal and boring.<\/p>\n<\/div>
